Xavier College Central Precinct Upgrade
Our client was tendering for Xavier College Central Precinct Upgrade, a $50 million construction of a new 3 level year 7 & 8 building built using CLT timber construction method and a construction of a new basement carpark with a reconstruction of a new chapel oval sports facility over the top.
Using 3D imagery and 4D construction sequencing animations, our client was able to communicate the complexity of the project in an easy-to-understand manner showing the enabling works, preparation of the substructure works and most importantly, the 2 separable portions of the new 3 level CLT timber construction and chapel oval being built simultaneously.
With these images and videos, they were able to establish themselves as experts and shown a high level of attention to the details of the CLT timber construction. One of the key aspects of the project is to ensure the students can safely traverse the school during construction with new zebra crossing provisions. The selection panel was highly impressed, especially as they successfully showed consideration for the students and quality of build to the key stakeholders.
